Ursula attended Mercy College to earn her bachelors degree in Veterinary Technology and has been working at the Monroe Animal Hospital for the past 5 years. She is a skilled and compassionate technician that brings nothing other then her very best to the practice each day. She enjoys traveling, photography, scrapbooking, and spending time with her dogs Killian and Shay.

Ella Dwornik
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Ella is a 2010 graduate of SUNY Canton - Veterinary Science Technology - AAS and we are delighted to have her on our team. Ella has a special interest in farm animals and enjoys traveling with Dr. Kate to her many farm calls, especially the ones with alpacas! When Ella is not caring for hospital or farm patients she likes to spend time cooking and baking. She loves to travel, loves the spring and loves her furry family- Little Man, Logan, George, Malina, Ginger and Parsley.

Joan Marie Gramazio
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Joanie attended SUNY Delhi and earned an AAS degree in Veterinary Technology. She also attended The University of Albany to earn her Bachelors in Science and is now in her first year of Veterinary School at Ross University in St. Kitts. We are so proud of her, miss her tons and wish her much success. We will keep her on this page until she can be moved to a different one!

Matt previously worked as Monroe Animal Hospitals Kennel Assistant and has since grown into his role as Veterinary Assistant. He enjoys playing baseball, X-box 360, surfing My Space and Facebook and hanging with Koby his Lab/Dalmatian mix.

Dawn Dziedzic
Receptionist
Dawn brings over 25 years of experience to the hospital with a wide range of skills focusing on everything from patient nursing to client care and is a welcome addition to the practice. She is an avid baker much to our delight and also enjoys sewing, the changing seasons and spending time with her daughter Sarah, their Jack Russell’s Tori and Kadie Bell and their Chihuahua's Dweezil and Monkey face.

Heather joined Monroe Animal Hospital 3 years ago and is dedicated to providing our clients and patients with quality care. She volunteers at charity events for the Warwick Humane Society, enjoys vacationing in Cape May NJ, sightseeing and spending time with her cat Angel. Heather is always in supply of endless hugs and kisses for all the furry friends who visit the hospital.

Combining both her skill in customer service, her compassion and ability to assist the doctors and technicians has made Heather a very welcome addition to our team. Heather studied the Arts at SUNY Buffalo and enjoys doing art related projects in her free time. She also enjoys reading, working out and being Mom to her 3 beautiful children Dylan, Talia and Aidan. In addition to the 2 legged children Heather has 2 furry kids that she adores and they are her cats Pudgie and Kitty.

Kennel Assistant
Ed is a junior at Monroe-Woodbury High School who aspires to be a large animal veterinarian and is a valuable member of our team at Monroe Animal Hospital. In his free time he likes playing the guitar, video games, paintball and airsoft and spending time with his friends. His canine companions are Isabelle the Rottweiler and Camio the lab.
