Hope Garcia: Massage Therapist, Rehabilitation Therapist, and Trainer

Hope Garcia has been working with dogs for the past 25 years having started her career working as an assistant at a Veterinary Clinic. In 2006 Hope directed all of her attention to learning canine therapy and became a Certified Pet Massage Provider from the Pet Massage Institute in Ohio. In 2007 she became a Certified Canine Massage Provider from The Rocky Mountain School of Animal Acupressure and Massage in Colorado, including certification in essential oils for the canine. Hope went on to study Canine Rehabilitation at the Canine Rehabilitation Institute, Deerfield Beach, FL and was mentored by rehabilitation specialists while traveling the country taking courses in many different canine modalities including: massage, acupressure, water therapy and physical therapy. At the same time Hope also started taking obedience and agility classes with her then 3 dogs and used her skills to teach a variety of classes including Pump Up With Your Pooch, which incorporates canine obedience, agility and human aerobics (yes she is also a certified aerobics instructor!). Hope has recently completed her studies in force- free training, working closely through The Professional Pet Guild and looks forward to helping the community and their pets. Hope and her husband moved to Orange County NY from South Florida 2 years ago and have two young children, which she inspires to teach her love for all animals.
